He grew up playing bluegrass and old-time on fiddle, and started playing mandolin while in college. Craig was introduced to the universe of Choro during his junior year, when he took Derek Pardue's (Choroguys' guitarist) course on Brazilian musics.

Derek Pardue is a Assistant Professor of cultural anthropology at Washington University in St. Louis. His work concerns popular music in urban Brazil and the Lusophone world. Derek's website is www.artsci.wustl.edu/~dpardue/web_pardue

Mo Marchini a native from Brazil, playing music in the Midwest for over 20 years, Mr. Marchini have a College degree in Advertising, but his love always been in the music, founder of the Chicago Samba (Chicago-IL), Samba Bom (Saint Louis-MO), now starting this new venture in Choro/Chorinho, one of the oldest expression in Brazilian Culture.
